We already discussed the method of integrating NFT tokens into the "Instagram" platform, as suggested by Facebook's founder.

And with new revelations emerging, things appear to be getting closer than ever.

NFT will be displayed for free on the Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon blockchains thanks to the widespread communication.

Instagram's owner, Meta, has not yet acknowledged the move, but according to the insider, the internet giant might make an official statement as early as next week.

It's no surprise that Instagram has joined the NFT.

In December, Instagram's CEO, Adam Mosseri, stated that the social media platform was "actively exploring" NFT without providing any further details.

The Financial Times reported in January that the photo-sharing app has begun internal testing of the NFT display feature.

The NFT extension was developed by David Marcus, the former head of Facebook's blockchain division who left the firm in December.

Stefan Kasrel, the former CEO of Upwork, took his place.

According to allegations in the press, Facebook is also working on developing its own NFT marketplace.
